About NYPC
NYPC is a 501(C)3 non-profit educational organization that brings together computer users at all levels to share their knowledge and enjoyment of
computers and computing.
NYPC is the largest computer user group in New York City. Run exclusively by volunteers since 1981,
we are one of the oldest user groups in America.
Once a month we have a general meeting (really a presentation) in a large
auditorium that is free and open to the public.

We have a full set of classes and workshops every month. For most classes
there is a modest fee, a handful are free. More*. . .
In our Special Interest Groups ( SIGS for short) users of software and/or
hardware like Office, Photoshop, Visual Basic, Palm Pilots, Linux, Java, Ventura
and much more share information, tips and tricks and the latest methods.

The NYPC Board of Directors meets on the first Tuesday of each month, and, occasionally during the month. Meetings are at
6:30 PM at the NYPC office, Room 550. All NYPC members are invited to attend Board Meetings, but please advise the
NYPC
President, in advance, especially if you have a topic for the agenda.
Note: Our official corporate name is "Gotham New York Personal Computer".

Our offices are in the New Yorker Hotel on Eighth Avenue, between 34th and 35th streets. |
We are on the newly renovated fifth floor. |
