Introducing NYPC

NYPC is a non-profit educational organization that brings together computer users at all levels to share their knowledge and enjoyment of computers and computing. We have monthly general meetings that are free and open to the public. We have a full set of classes and workshops every month. At our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) users of applications like Photoshop, Excel, Flash, Visual Basic, Exchange, Ventura, Linux and much more get together monthly to share information, tips and tricks. 

General Meetings

NYPC holds a General Meeting (really a presentation) on the third Thursday of every month at 6 PM. The general meetings are free and open to the public. We usually meet in the Auditorium of PS 41 on 11th Street in Manhattan, just west of Sixth Avenue. During the summer months we meet in other air conditioned locations. More . . .

The postponed August General Meeting was to be about Converting LPs and Tapes to CDs. It will be rescheduled and the new date will be posted here as soon as it is available. For information on this meeting and a subsequent hands-on class send an email to: Vinyl-to-CD@nypc.org

Classes

NYPC offers a full set of classes and workshops every month. For most classes there is a modest fee, a handful are free. Our classes are open to the public, NYPC members receive a slight discount. We have a separate web site for education.
