Mary is skilled in both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. She also teaches two classes on finding information on the Internet: Beyond Google: Advanced Internet Searching and Finding Health/Medical Information Online. 
Ted Cohn

As co-chair of the NYPC Wireless and Palm SIGs, Ted is an evangelist for handheld digital communication. He explains technical issues clearly, and his enthusiasm is contagious.
Marge Earthlife

Marge is the dynamic Chair of NYPC’s Education Committee. She has extensive experience in computer training and curriculum development.
Michael Horowitz

A gifted teacher as well as technical expert, Michael has taught several NYPC classes: Backing Up Your Computer, Buying and Owning a Laptop computer, So You Bought a New Computer-Now What?, Get Your Own Domain, WiFi wireless networks and more. He has also spoken at our monthly general meeting. 
Michael started with mainframe computers and then moved to PCs. He is the webmaster for the Personal Computer Show on WBAI (Wednesday evenings at 8PM at 99.5 FM) and re-designed this web site in May 2006. His own website has a wealth of information.
Fred Kahn

Fred Kahn is an eBay Power Seller who teaches many eBay classes for NYPC. He is also A+ certified, a graduate of our own A+ class. Fred is a professional photographer who uses his engineering background to really understand his camera - and accessories. He teaches our digital camera classes and also What You Need To Know Before You Buy Your Next Computer. 
Jerry Bucknoff

Jerry Bucknoff, MBA, PMP, is an I.T. Management consultant with a focus on data architecture and business intelligence applications for financial services clients. His training specializations include: project management, PMP certification, PowerPoint, .NET and SQL. Jerry has over 20 years experience in data architecture, business analysis and project management. Jerry is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a graduate of SetFocus, the Microsoft Certified Technology Education Center, where he spent three intensive months learning .NET and SQL Server technologies. He teaches Microsoft C# Express 2005.

Paula K. Poulafearh is a professional videographer. Her biweekly cable TV show, “Manhattan Classical Opera and Concert Series,” airs on alternate Sunday evenings at 7:30 PM.

Mark Halegua

Mark Halegua is a professional computer consultant, whose company is FarSight Data Systems. He has been working in the computer industry as a consultant for over 20 years, working on CP/M, DOS, Xenix, OS/2, Novell, Linux, and Windows systems. Mark has used Knoppix for over 4 years, and one of his most prized possessions is the disk with Knoppix 3.4 personally given to him by Klaus Knopper, the creator of Knoppix. Mark teaches Getting Started With Open Office.

Bill Ginsburg

Bill is an early, enthusiastic adopter of the Palm PDA and then of the Treo SmartPhone. He has a knack for teaching beginners how to use it. Bill also is a "bricks and mortar" architect, and NYPC's Program Chair (General Meeting Planner).
Ron Acher

Ron Acher is a long-time NYPC member with an MBA in Finance, who taught DOS for NYPC when it was still new, and was at one time Chair of the NYPC Finance Committee. He currently runs a small business called QuickBooks for Startups (qbfs@comcast.net) in which he applies the principles he teaches in this course.
